Take an already sound, low mileage Landrover 90 pickup. Completely re build it on a galvanised chassis. Spend thousands and thousands of pounds on replacing and uprating everything with the best parts money can buy and fit a race tuned 4.6 litre V8 ebgine coupled to an automatic gearbox. Oh and then professionally convert it to run on either petrol or L.P.G.
Spend some more money on uprating the suspension including a lift, uprated shockers and coils, not forgetting dislocation cones, the appropriate 3 degree radius arms etc, braided hoses, performance V8 leads, front and rear diff guards, etc etc ( could go on but dont want to be boring! )
Finish it off in a lovely coat of metallic silver paint and fit a brand new set of Landrover Boost alloy wheels with a brand new set of General Grabber TR tyres. And after investing many many hours of time, hey presto ! You wind up with what must be the most awesome Landrover pickup truck available.
This really is a most amazing Landrover. Amazing to look at and amazing to drive. It has such usable power without even trying. It sounds like a thunderstorm and on gas its even reasonably economical. Is this a useable everyday Landy or is it the best toy ever?
